• Order information — when you place an order through our online shop, we collect your name, email, phone number, delivery/collection preference, and the items ordered.
• Payment information — payments made through our shop are processed by PayFast, a licensed South African payment gateway. We do not see or store your card or banking details — PayFast handles this directly and securely.

How we use your information

We use the information above to respond to enquiries, process and fulfil orders, issue invoices, and provide ongoing customer support. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Our QuickBooks Online integration

We use QuickBooks Online to manage our accounting and inventory. Our website connects to QuickBooks Online via Intuit's official API to keep our online shop's stock levels accurate. Specifically:

• We read product stock quantities (by SKU) from our QuickBooks inventory items.
• This is a one-way sync — we do not write, modify, or delete any data in QuickBooks Online. QuickBooks remains the single source of truth for our inventory and accounting records.
• We do not access customer, banking, tax, or financial report data through this connection — only inventory item stock levels.
• Access can be revoked at any time from within QuickBooks Online's connected apps settings.

Data security

Information is stored on secured servers and access credentials (including QuickBooks API tokens) are encrypted and never exposed publicly. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

Third-party services we use

• PayFast — payment processing (see PayFast's own privacy policy for how they handle payment data)
• QuickBooks Online (Intuit) — inventory stock sync, as described above

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us using the details below. This is in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
